Depart for your holiday and head to Kuching, the cat capital of Borneo!
Fly from London to Kuching, via Kuala Lumpur.
Upon arrival on day 2, you will be met and transferred to Ranee Boutique Hotel where you will stay for 2 nights with breakfast included at this romantic pair of 19th-century shophouses in the heart of Old Town. You will explore the streets on a guided walking tour this afternoon, as you cross the Rejang River by traditional sampan, and sample local snacks.
On day 3, you will visit the Semenggoh Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, take a city walking tour, and a sunset cruise along the Sarawak River.

Leave the city behind for your first taste of the jungle!
Today you will be transferred to Bako National Park, where you will be staying for 1 night at Bako Lodge with breakfast included. Explore rainforest trails, pristine beaches, and jungle streams with sightings of proboscis monkeys, silvered langurs, macaques, wild boar, flying squirrels and monitor lizards. This afternoon, you will head out on a tour to visit to Satang Island, a nesting ground for green and hawksbill turtles.
Day 5 begins with a morning cruise along the Santubong River and Kuching Wetlands. Afterwards, you will be taken back to Ranee Boutique Hotel for 1 more night with breakfast included.
Goodbye Sarawak, hello Sabah – head straight to the jungle canopy!
Today will be met and transferred to the airport where you will connect with your flight via Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Sepilok Nature Lodge for 1 night with breakfast included. This afternoon, you can visit the Rainforest Discovery Centre and later on join a night walk to see nocturnal wildlife.
On day 7, you will explore the Sepilok Orangutan Centre and Sun Bear Conservation Centre before a 2.5-hour boat journey up the Kinabatangan River to Sukau Rainforest Lodge for 2 nights on a full-board basis.
Morning and afternoon river safaris, guided jungle walks, and nocturnal wildlife tours bring Borneo’s incredible biodiversity to life.
Leave the river behind for pristine rainforests and even more wildlife
Today, you will travel deeper into the jungle with a stop at Gomantong Caves, home to millions of bats along the way. You will then continue to arrive at Borneo Rainforest Lodge for 2 nights on a full-board basis. Explore rainforest trails and the canopy walk this afternoon, before you head out later on an exciting night spotlighting tour in an open-top buggy.
On day 10, pick up your packed breakfast before you set out to trek to a 200-year-old Kadazandusun burial site along the View Point Trail. Once back at the lodge later, you can take part in additional optional activities which include private trekking, river tubing, and specialist guided tours.
Depart the jungle for some R&R on the beaches of Shangri- La
Enjoy a morning at leisure before you are taken to the airport to catch your flight to Kota Kinabalu. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Shangri-La Rasa Ria, nestled between rainforest and the South China Sea. You will stay here for 4 nights with breakfast included.
Have the next 3 days to relax on golden sands, explore nearby islands by boat, cycle the coast, or visit Mari Mari Cultural Village. Snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding and the award-winning spa ensure a blissful end to your Borneo adventure.
On day 15 you will be transferred back to the airport to start your journey home.
