We are all different yet, as a team, we have two things in common:

  • We all took a leap. Whether it was quitting a job, buying a one-way ticket, or travelling solo to follow our passion for travel.
  • We all believe the best stories happen during the in-between moments. Whether it’s catching the breeze on a Sri Lankan train, stumbling on the perfect bowl of pho, or glimpsing a wild sloth through the trees.

Each of us has a favourite destination or hotel, yet we’re all driven by the thrill of discovering more. This curiosity binds us as a team. We inspire one another, sharing the excitement of uncovering hidden gems, secluded paradises, and authentic local experiences. Apart from the odd “sorry, the bus is late”, our staff WhatsApp group is awash with photos and videos of incredible moments we experience overseas. Reminders of why we love what we do.

Thank you all for making our 30th wedding anniversary holiday celebration. We loved it to bits the warmth of the Vietnamese and Cambodians was inspiring, the culture and geography simply breath-taking and the attentiveness of the staff in general was excellent.

This was the best family holiday we have ever had. Tailored to what we wanted in beautiful and perfect accommodation that suited us. Every day was an adventure and honestly trying to find a highlight is impossible. From watching giant green turtles laying their eggs then walking back into the sea, to being woken up by howler monkeys to zip lining through the rainforest and kayaking with crocodiles.

We were keen to see as many species of bird as possible and the guides were expecting this and each had amazing knowledge of where to find them. Not just that, but they made sure we also got to see many of the rest of the wildlife of the region - everything from amazing numbers of Impala, Giraffe, Elephant, Zebra, lions, Cheetah and Leopard, and even Wild Dog that we had hoped to see but doubted we would be so lucky!

From the most amazing food and walking tour in Galle Fort, to glamping and safari in Yala, to a treetop jungle hideaway, waterfall swimming and train through the tea hills in Ella, to climbing Monkey Mountain in Gal Oya, to a Sri Lankan cookery class, private cinema for 2 under the stars and helping local fishermen bring in their catch at a pristine beach on the east coast, we can honestly say we truly experienced Sri Lanka and completely fell in love with it.
