Fly overnight from London via Kuala Lumpur, arriving in Sarawak’s charming capital.

Upon your arrival on day 2, you will be transferred to The Ranee Boutique Suites for 3 nights with breakfast included. A 19th-century shophouse conversion, settle in as you overlook the Sarawak River. Later, you could head out and spend your first afternoon exploring the Old Town’s waterfront markets.

Join a private guide to Semenggoh Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre on day 3, before you then visit a traditional bamboo longhouse to meet the Iban community.

On your final day here, cruise by boat to Bako National Park for a guided hike through mangroves and rainforest alive with proboscis monkeys and silvered langurs.

This morning you will fly to Mulu and settle into Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa. A rainforest haven on raised boardwalks, you will have the next 2 nights here with breakfast included. This afternoon, you can walk the plankway to Lang and Deer Caves to witness the evening bat exodus.

On day 6, travel by longboat to Wind and Clearwater Caves, part of the world’s largest cave system, and climb the rainforest canopy walkway for bird’s-eye views.

Fly to Sabah’s capital on day 7 for an overnight stay at Hotel Grandis with breakfast included. This is a modern retreat overlooking the South China Sea. Explore colourful markets or ask about adding a guided hike to Mount Kinabalu for extra adventure!

Fly to Sandakan and transfer to Sepilok Nature Lodge for 1 night on a full board basis. A tropical garden hideaway beside virgin rainforest, enjoy a stroll along the canopy walkways of the Rainforest Discovery Centre this afternoon, and later you can join an optional night walk.

On day 9 you will visit Sepilok’s renowned Orangutan and Sun Bear centres before cruising into the heart of Sabah. Stay first at Abai Jungle Lodge for 1 night, on a full board basis, a rustic riverside base for wildlife cruises.

Continue upstream on day 10 to Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge where you will stay for a further 2 nights, on a full board basis. Spend the next 2 days drifting along misty waterways at dawn and dusk with expert naturalists, spotting pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, and dazzling birdlife.

After cruising back along the river, you will be transferred to Sandakan airport to catch your flight to Kota Kinabalu. On arrival, you will be taken to the jetty where you will then get a boat across turquoise waters to Gaya Island Resort where your Borneo holiday comes to an end with 3 nights with breakfast included. Fringed by golden sand and dense rainforest, it offers snorkelling over vibrant reefs, guided nature walks, and a serene spa.

You will then have 2 full days to unwind, go diving or kayaking, and heading out on guided nature walks.

On day 15, take a last morning swim before your boat and car transfer to the airport where you will catch your overnight flight to London.
