Day 1: London to Cape Town
Fly overnight from the UK to Cape Town.
Day 2: Cape Town
On arrival you will be transferred into the city where you will spend your first 4 nights at the V&A Waterfront, with the Waterfront on your doorstep, you can start exploring without any transport. Visit the aquarium, take a spin on the Cape Wheel, take in a few busking groups, head to the Watershed to look at some unique souvenirs. See our Cape Town guide.
Days 3&4: Cape Town
Two full days to explore this incredible city! You can take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain, enjoy sundowners at Camps Bay or wander through the city to the V&A Waterfront. We can also help arranging some fantastic excursions – city cycling tours, kayaking adventures, historical tours with Robben Island and more.
Day 5: Day Trip to Hermanus: Whale Watching!
This morning you will be transferred to Hermanus. Listen out for the whale crier’s horn which is sounded upon sightings in the bay. You’ll have plenty of time to spot whales as well as wander along the coastal paths to watch whales from the land, take a boat out into the bay and explore the small town of Hermanus. Day 6: Cape Town to Kariega Private Game Reserve
This morning you will check-in for a flight to Port Elizabeth. On arrival, you will be transferred to the Main Lodge at Kariega Game Reserve where you will be staying for 4 nights, family-owned and an operated Big 5 private safari reserve, this malaria-free game lodge incorporates 10,000 hectares of pristine African wilderness. Days 7 to 9 : Safari Time!
Three full days on safari in Kariega Game Reserve. The reserve is home to the Big 5 and four days should give you enough time to spot all these animals and more. Each day you will head out on a game drives along with plenty of relaxation time to take in the views of the reserve or even go for a bush walk or boat trip.
Day 10: Kariega to Mauritius
Early this morning you will be transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport to catch a flight to Mairitius. On arrival you will be transferred to Beachcomber Paradis on the Morne Peninsula where you will be for 6 nights, set against the backdrop of the iconic Le Morne mountain and edges onto one of the most scenic shorelines on the island, this resort offers on of the finest luxury hotels in Mauritius.
Days 11 to 15: Morne Peninsula, Mauritius
Five full days to enjoy the huge pool and beautiful beaches of the Morne Peninsula. With over 3kms of white sandy beach bordering a protected turquoise lagoon, Paradis offers an extensive range of free water sports including windsurfing, paddle-boarding, water-skiing, sailing and snorkelling. Day 16: Mauritius to the UK
After a final day relaxing on the beach, you will be transferred to Mauritius Airport to check-in for you flight back to the UK.
Day 17: Home
