Cape Town is one of our favourite cities in the world and a fabulous holiday destination. The backdrop of Table Mountain and the beautiful bays at every turn, give the city a character unlike any other. Whatever yoru view on visiting a city as part of a holiday, this is the one to take the time over. There is plenty to keep everyone occupied, interested and happy from nature to shopping, from vibrant african dance & music to political insights, from gente strolls on sandy beaches to strenuous mountain hikes, from long lazy lunches to the freshest fish and chips on the go and all with views at every turn that draw your breath.

Table Mountain is the beginning of the mounatin range known as the Twelve Apostles which splits the peninsula in two with beaches on both sides. The City Bowl is where the main business of Captonians is at. When on holiday, the City Bowl is perfect for a central location, a chance to take a walk around the main city, enjoy the colourful houses of Bo-Kaap, visit the Planetarium, shop at the V&A, take a boat to Robben Island. Alternatively head south along the coast to stay at Green Point or Sea Point for a view of the Atlantic and a less crowded feel. Further along the coast, about 20 minutes by taxi from the City Bowl, Camps Bay offers a stunning beach location, with Lion’s Head and the Twelve Apostles forming the backdrop to a huge white sandy beach. It’s trendy, buzzing and cosmopolitan and certainly doesn’t feel like you’re in a city.
