DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: London to the Makalali Game Reserve (Kruger)
Fly overnight from the UK to Johannesburg where you will connect with your flight to Hoedspruit. You will be met and transferred to the Makalali Conservancy to spend 5 nights at Garonga – a huge favourite of ours! Garonga offers beautiful accommodation, an exclusive safari and first-class hospitality. Special offer: Stay 5 nights, pay for 4.
Days 2-5: Kruger (Makalali Game Reserve)
Four full days of exciting safari! Head out on twice daily game drives with the experienced and knowledgeable guides for some serious animal encounters. As well as looking for as many of the Big 5 as you can, you should also keep an eye out for colourful birdlife and diverse plains animals. Stretch your legs on a walking safari and get closer to the nature of the area around you, before you cool off in the pool after a day spent in the African sun.
Head to the Massage Sala for a spa treatment to relax and unwind, or book the sleep-out deck for some time on your own in the middle of the bush – stay for the night or just for an amazing sundowner. And then there’s the bush bath … Ask us all about Garonga – we’ve stayed here.
Day 6: Kruger to Johannesburg
After a final morning game drive, you will be transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport to catch a flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, catch the airport shuttle to the airport hotel Garden Court O R Tambo where you will spend 1 night.
Day 7: Johannesburg to the Seychelles
Catch the shuttle back to Johannesburg Airport to check-in for your flight to the Seychelles. On arrival you will be transferred to Constance Ephelia where you will spend 6 nights on two of the best beaches on Mahe. This fantastic resort has a great location, heaps of facilities and beautiful reefs! Prefer Mauritius, Mozambique or Zanzibar or want to extend your time on the beach – ask us to tailor this holiday for you.
Days 8 to 12: Mahe Island, Seychelles
Five days free to enjoy paradise. Included in your stay is a selection of non-motorised water-sports including kayaking, pedal boats, windsurfing and catamaran sailing. We can help arrange other activities – snorkelling, diving, fishing and cycling – just give us a call!
Day 13: Seychelles to the UK
After a final relaxing day in the Seychelles, you will be transferred back to Mahe Airport to catch your flight back to the UK.
Day 14: Home

The fab boutique hotel in Cape Town was a great location for New Year celebrations and the trip to Franschoek and the winelands fabulous, not just the wine hic hic but the journey there and the spectacular scenery on the drive over.

From the minute we checked in at the Emirates desk to the minute we landed back in the UK, everything was perfect. Our accommodation was WOW, our transfer drivers and trips were WOW. I don’t want to share where we stayed because they were so special and if we want to go back, I don’t want to find them unavailable!!!

We loved the safari in Zambia. Such brilliant, friendly guides. The diving at Thonga was another favourite because of the colours and variety of sea life. All in all, it was a great fun, exciting, informative and relaxing holiday.

We just wanted to say thank you for organising such a wonderful holiday for us. We had such an amazing 10 days and everything went just as planned. We would highly recommend James to our friends and the order that we visited each place was perfect. We were lucky in Cape Town as one of the days was warm and sunny so we were able to get up to Table Mountain before we left for Hermanus. We also braved great white shark cage diving and saw plenty of whales on our lovely walk along the Hermanus coastal path.
