Tour itinerary

Days 1 & 2 :

Depart on your honeymoon – Congratulations newlyweds!

Fly overnight from the UK to Cape Town.

Upon arrival on day 2 into Cape Town you will collect your hire car and drive into the city, heading to the slopes of Table Mountain to spend 4 nights with breakfast included at the Four Rosmead, a real Sundowner favourite and the definition of a cool boutique hotel.

Days 3 - 6:

Explore the iconic beaches, V&A Waterfront, and so much more!

You will now have 3 free days to explore this incredible city! You can drive 5 minutes over the hill to the beaches of Camps Bay or wander through the city to the V&A Waterfront.

We can also help to arrange some fantastic excursions for your honeymoon – city cycling tours, kayaking adventures, culinary tours and more.

On day 6, after a final lazy breakfast in Cape Town, you will drive 1 hour to the stunning Franschhoek Valley to spend 3 nights with breakfast included at the lovely Avondrood Guesthouse. With its welcoming atmosphere, lovely rooms, amazing breakfasts and perfect location it’s easy to see why this is a Sundowner favourite.

Days 7 - 9 :

Savouring award-winning wines and gourmet meals in the beautiful Cape Winelands before safari time!

Two free days to explore and indulge in the Cape Winelands. Franschhoek has numerous award winning restaurants with-in easy walking distance of Avondrood and the valley boasts fine vineyards as far as the eye can see! Ask us for the current top restaurants.

On day 9, you will head back to Cape Town airport in the morning to fly directly to KMIA Kruger Airport. You will then collect your new hire car and drive 1 hour to Nkomazi Game Reserve to spend 2 nights on a full-board basis. A great start to any Kruger safari this stunning 15,000 hectare reserve has only 10 stylish tents with plunge pools and a lot of the great outdoors. “Stay 3 pay 2” Special.

Days 10 - 12:

Thrilling game drives, nature walks, and stargazing in this stunning 15,000-hectare reserve.

Two full days to enjoy the activities at Nkomzi, these include game drives, guided nature walks, fly-fishing, mountain biking, star gazing and relaxing at the spa.

Following a morning activity and breakfast on day 12, you will continue your safari as you drive 3.5hrs north to the Sabi Sands region of the Kruger, heading to Simbambili Game Lodge for a further 3 nights on a full-board basis in cat country. Located in one of the best game viewing reserves in Africa, Simbambili is an intimate lodge with only 8 romantic bush suites.

Days 13 - 15:

Cruising around the reserve on a jeep, looking out for the Big Five!

Two full days of big 5 safari on ranger led game drives and safari walks. This region of Africa has some of the highest concentrations of wildlife and is serious predator country.

Following a final morning game drive on day 15 and breakfast, you will drive 3hrs back to KMIA Kruger Airport for your short flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will connect with your International flight back to the UK.
