Leaving Cape Town behind, drive east to the beautiful Whale Coast for a 3 night stay in a two-bedroom cottage at Coot Club. Today you will be drive along Route 62 to enjoy spectacular landscapes, passing through the semi desert of Karoo, rugged mountains, orchard farms and vineyards. It is relatively quiet allowing you to just take everything in without worrying about traffic, have your cameras at the ready! You will be heading to AfriCamps Klein Karoo where you will be staying for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom luxury tent with hot tub, breakfast basket included. Another perfect family-friendly spot on a working ostrich farm with a pool.

Early this morning head on a meerkat safari. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.
