The family orientated Why House is surrounded by tropical gardens and just minutes from the beaches in the south of Sri Lanka. The team will greet you like long-lost friends, and they are on hand to help if you want to book any of the activities available – explore more of the ocean and go snorkelling, sailing or surfing, visit nearby tea and coffee plantations, or join in with an in house cooking demonstration and learn how to make some famous Sri Lankan dishes so that you can cook up a treat for your friends and family at home. Dine at the restaurant and be treated to a cultural show with dancers, music, traditional costumes and more. It is an event not to be missed!

Why House has 10 Rooms – whether you are travelling solo, as part of a couple, or with your family, there is a room to suit everyone. Each room has been beautifully designed, and they come with their own private terrace, either with a garden or a pool view. There are suites and villas available in the Main House and Garden which are perfect for families, or for couples who want some privacy, there are two private Cabanas.
