DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Ho Chi Minh City
Fly overnight from the UK to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City
On arrival you will be taken into the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh where you will spend 3 nights at the Sanouva Hotel, a small independently run hotel ideally located by Ben Thanh Market. Days 3: Ho Chi Minh City
A private half day tour to explore the bustling city including sights such as the Reunification Palace, fascinating War Remnants Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Day 4: Mekong Delta
This full day trip on the river will take you into the heart of the Mekong Delta where you will travel on bike, boat and land, meeting the locals and learning their way of life, a truly unforgettable experience. Day 5: Hoi An
Taking a flight to Da Nang, you will be transferred to the old trading port of Hoi An to spend 2 nights at the owner-run Cozy Hoi An Boutique Villas, an oasis of calm just half an hour’s walk from the Ancient Town. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a walking tour of the UNESCO town, including the 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge, former merchants houses, a Chinese communal hall and colourful market.

Day 6: Hoi An
Today you will try your hand at a Vietnamese cookery lesson, first using the local markets to gather your fresh produce before perfecting your skills under the watchful eye of a local chef. You will then get to enjoy the feast you create! Day 7: Hue
Today you will enjoy a scenic drive north to the ancient capital of Hue to spend 2 nights at The Scarlett Boutique Hotel, a central hotel renowned for its attentive & friendly staff and just 10mins walk from the incredible Imperial Citadel.

Day 8: Hue
An amazing full day private tour to show you Hue’s Imperial Citadel, the Old City, Tinh Tam Lake, the Mausoleum of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh’s Tomb . You will also take a boat ride along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and visit the city’s vibrant Dong Ba Market.

Day 9: Ha Long Bay
Flying to the capital Hanoi, you will then head to Halong Bay to board The Glory Legend Junkboat for an overnight cruise of this stunning area. You will have the opportunity to take out kayaks to further explore the bay and enjoy the sunset over Halong Bay – definitely a Sundowner Moment! Day 10: Hanoi
Rise early and watch the sunrise over Halong Bay! You will then head to Hanoi to spend your last 2 nights at La Belle vie, lovely, small hotel offers incredible sunset views, with comfortable rooms, excellent service, and good location. This evening you will go on a cyclo-tour of the city, stopping off at various food stalls to sample the many delicacies of the north – yum!

Day 11: Hanoi
A half day private tour will give you the opportunity to visit the city’s highlights including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, The Temple of Literature, and Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 12: Hanoi to UK
You will have plenty of time to see all of the sights you want to see, do some shopping, visit the local market for one last price barter or just eat as much Vietnamese food as you possibly can. In the evening, we will take you to Hanoi International Airport for your flight back to the UK. Welcome Home…
