DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: UK to Hanoi
Fly overnight from the UK to Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi
On arrival you will be transferred to the La Siesta Hotel Trendy to spend 2 nights. Owned by Mr Do Van Dan this superb hotel is located in the centre of the Old Quarter and is well known for its outstanding customer service. In the evening, you will get to taste true Vietnamese cuisine on an authentic street food tour.

Days 3: Hanoi
A half day tour will take you around the city showing the ’36 streets’ known as the old quarter, walk through bustling markets, around the Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the temple of Literature. You will then have a free afternoon and evening to do with as you wish. Talk to us about going to see the typically Vietnamese water puppets show in the old quarter.

Day 4: Halong Bay
This morning you will be taken to the port to board your Junkboat, the Bhaya Classic for an overnight stay around the picturesque Halong Bay. Explore by kayak, enjoy sundowners on the deck and a freshly prepared meal before retiring to your cabin for the night.

Day 5: Hue
Enjoy breakfast on board as the sun rises before returning to dry land. You will then be transferred back to Hanoi for a short flight to Hue where you will spend 2 nights at the Pilgrimage Village Boutique Resort & Spa with its relaxed atmosphere and fantastic pool – the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon together!

Day 6: Hue
An exciting full day tour will allow you to fit in all that the imperial city can offer. You will walk and cycle your way around, and try the delicious local cuisine of Hue. Finishing off with a guided tour around the local markets, you have your evening free to relax together as you wish.

Day 7: Hoi An
Taking a scenic drive south your next stop is Hoi An where you will be spending 3 nights at Maison VY, a stunning little hotel owner run by Ms Vy herself. With some lovely little extras such as free high tea and herbal foot-baths, this place is perfect for a honeymoon! In the evening, you will be able to try your hand at making your own Vietnamese dinner at a cooking class with a local chef.

Day 8 & 9: Hoi An
Two full days to enjoy this enchanting region of Vietnam. You will enjoy a half day cycling tour of the Ancient Town, the perfect way to explore Hoi An and the following day you will head to the ancient UNESCO My Son Temples, older than the infamous Angkor Wat. You will also have plenty of free time to explore, relax on the many stunning beaches, eat or have your dream outfit made by the many skilled tailors in town.

Day 10 & 11: Mekong Delta
After a quick flight from Da Nang airport to Ho Chi Minh City you will be transferred down to the waterways of the Delta where you will be staying for 2 nights at The Island Lodge. From here you can indulge yourself in the life of the river, relax and watch the world go by, take a tour to a local coconut farm or cross the river to My Tho taking a bike and exploring true Vietnam life at your own pace.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City
A quick transfer from the Mekong will take you back into the metropolis that is Ho Chi Minh City where you will be spending your last 2 nights at the luxurious Villa Song Saigon where no two rooms are the same and its outstanding hospitality makes this the perfect place to end your amazing honeymoon. Though it’s not over yet, this evening you will soak up the atmosphere with a street tour of the food markets and local music scene.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City
A full day of sightseeing awaits you for your final day with a chance to explore the colourful markets, Palaces & Pagodas of this bustling city. Day 14: Ho Chi Minh to UK (via Bangkok)
You will have plenty of time to visit some last-minute sights, do some shopping, visit the local market for one last time or just eat as much Vietnamese food as you possibly can. In the evening, we will take you to Ho Chi Minh International airport to fly back overnight to the UK.
