Fly overnight to Windhoek from the UK.

Upon arrival on day 2, you will collect your car and drive into the city to where you will spend 1 night with breakfast included at Villa Violet, a peaceful base with leafy gardens and a cooling pool. Relax and recharge after your long journey.

On day 3, you will drive into the Namib Desert – make sure you stop for a delicious apple tart in Solitaire along the way! Continue on to Elegant Desert Camp, your stylish base for 2 nights with breakfast included. Settle into your canvas tent on arrival with an outside viewing deck that offers uninterrupted desert views, or head to the pool for a cooling swim.

Day 4 is yours to spend at leisure. You could wake early and climb Dune 45 at sunrise, explore Deadvlei’s skeletal trees, or float over the dunes in a hot air balloon. This is where the scale of Namibia really sinks in.

Today you will drive for around 5 hours via Kuiseb Canyon to Swakopmund, Namibia’s curious seaside town. Spend 2 nights with breakfast included at the relaxed Cornerstone Guesthouse, a relaxed boutique guesthouse located within walking distance of restaurants as well as the beachfront.

You will have day 6 at leisure to enjoy the area. Choose from kayaking in Walvis Bay with seals, head out on a dolphin cruise, or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can go desert quad biking.

On day 7, you will follow the Skeleton Coast to Grootberg Lodge where you will stay for 2 nights with breakfast included. Every aspect of Grootberg Lodge has been designed to maximize the incredible views – from large windows to generous decks.

Enjoy a free day at Grootberg Lodge. Activities include a Damara Cultural Tour, guided walks, scenic drives, and opportunities for tracking Desert Elephants or Rhinos. Alternatively, drive to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see ancient rock engravings.

On day 9, you will drive 3 hours to the outskirts of Etosha National Park. You are going to stay for 1 night with breakfast included at Vreugde Guest Farm – a small family run business offering elegant and comfortable accommodation on the outskirts of Etosha. This afternoon relax in the beautiful gardens on the farm, have a dip in the pool, or head into the park and spend the afternoon enjoying a self-drive safari in Etosha National Park.

This morning you will drive 4 hours to East Etosha, where you will spend 2 nights at Onguma Bush Camp with breakfast included. With great game viewing, adventure, tranquility, and more, Onguma also has its own waterhole which large numbers of animals gather at.

Have day 11 at leisure. You can add in some more game drives if you want a chance to see some more wildlife, or head out on a bush walk.

On day 12 you will drive south to Frans Indongo Lodge by the Waterberg Plateau You will stay for 1 night with breakfast included – escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this charming lodge. Hike the escarpment this afternoon, or visit the nearby Cheetah Conservation Fund.

You will then drive 4 hours back to Windhoek for your return flight on day 13.
