Arrive in Hanoi and discover its soul and street food in the Old Quarter
Fly overnight to Hanoi.
On arrival, you will be transferred to spend 2 nights at The Q Hotel with breakfast included. This upscale boutique hotel is centrally located, offering contemporary, comfortable rooms within easy reach of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and major cultural sights.
After settling in, a private evening street food tour introduces you to Hanoi’s buzzing alleys and local delicacies, finishing with a traditional water puppet show.
On day 3, you will head out and explore with your private guide! Visit the Temple of Literature, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the lakeside Tran Quoc Pagoda before an afternoon at leisure to explore as you wish.
Rural beauty in Ninh Binh
Travel south to Ninh Binh today, where upon arrival you’ll stay for 2 nights with breakfast included at Tam Coc Garden. Surrounded by limestone cliffs and rice fields, this tranquil hideaway offers warm hospitality and stunning scenery. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing by the pool.
On day 5 you will have a morning guided exploration of Hoa Lu’s ancient capital ruins, followed by a scenic sampan boat ride through Tam Coc’s limestone caves. There is also an optional countryside cycling extension visiting Thai Vi Temple and Bich Dong Pagoda. The rest of the day will be at leisure.
Drift through Bai Tu Long Bay and fly to Hue
This morning, you’ll head to the port to board the Dragon Legend, a beautifully crafted Vietnamese junk boat for a 1-night full-board cruise. Set sail through the peaceful waters of Ha Long Bay, where the boat will stop so you have the chance to swim in hidden coves, kayak through limestone islets, or simply relax and take in the views.
Begin day 7 with sunrise Tai Chi and breakfast on deck before returning to shore. You will then be transferred to Hanoi airport where you will take a short flight to Hue and check in for 2 nights with breakfast included at Ancient Hue Garden Houses. Restored garden villas and French-style residences evoke the elegance of imperial Hue while immersing guests in the rhythms of a living local community along the Perfume River.
Later this evening, hop on a vintage Vespa for a local-led food tour through Hue’s buzzing streets.

Through the countryside to Hoi An
Spend the morning cycling with a guide through Hue’s peaceful countryside, meeting villagers and stopping at Tan My, a town of grand villas tucked among rice fields. Your journey will continue on to the Perfume River, where you will end your day watching the sun set over the water.
On day 9, you will travel south via the spectacular Hai Van Pass to Hoi An for a 3 night stay at Hoi An Central Boutique Hotel with breakfast included. This lovely property is within walking distance of the lantern-strewn Ancient Town.
You will then have days 10 and 11 to enjoy Hoi An! On your first morning, head to the market with a local chef before trying your hand at classic Vietnamese recipes in a cooking class. There will also be plenty of opportunities to cycle quiet backroads, visit local temples, or maybe even spend a day on the beach.
From Ho Chi Minh’s streets to Angkor’s temples
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City where you will spend 1 night with breakfast included at the Caravelle Saigon. This luxury hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City combines historic heritage and modern comfort with sweeping views over the city from its rooftop bar beside the Opera House.
This afternoon, explore the city’s layered history on a private tour as you visit the Reunification Palace, the colonial-era Post Office and the lively stalls of Ben Thanh Market.
On day 13, head underground at the Cu Chi Tunnels for a powerful insight into Vietnam’s wartime past. Later, fly to Cambodia and check in for your final 2 nights at Viroth’s Hotel with breakfast included. This is a serene and stylish retreat tucked behind tropical gardens in Siem Reap.
Spend day 14 uncovering the wonders of the Angkor temple complex! Count the enigmatic faces of Bayon, wander through the jungle-strangled beauty of Ta Prohm, and marvel at the iconic grandeur of Angkor Wat.
