Located in Chanoud village in the heart of Rajasthan, midway between Jodhpur and Udaipur, the palace of Chanoud Garh was built 300 years ago by Thakur Anoop Singh ji. Stooped in history this wonderful palace has now been converted into one of the finest heritage hotels in Rajasthan and is run with first class hospitality by the 13^th generation of the Singh family.

Divided between two main courtyards the palace has just 7 suites, all unique and oozing character with beautiful interiors which show off the original historical décor of the palace whilst modern amenities lie carefully hidden within the design.

Every bit of the palace has been carefully preserved to lead you back to the era of the gallant rulers. The delicate stone filigree Jharokhas, the rough marble pillared corridors, the grand Durbars and winding doorways that lead to courtyards or opulent lawns; all whisper small snippets of history.

Food is taken very seriously at the palace, with delicious traditional recipes having been passed down through the generations and with all meals included during your stay you will be treated to some delicious Rajasthani cuisine which can enjoyed al fresco in the courtyard or the fabulous rooftop terrace.

As well as palace life and its fascinating history (a tour of the palace is a must!), a stay at Chanoud Garh is not complete without experiencing rural Rajasthan and outside the palace ramparts there are some wonderful activities to showcase this region. A walk into the village to meet the friendly locals is not to be missed and other highlights include jeep safaris into the surrounding countryside and sunset excursions to the incredible salt pans – perfect for a Sundowner Moment!
