Fly overnight to Nairobi.

On arrival, transfer to your light aircraft to fly to the world-famous Masai Mara, flying low over the Great Rift Valley and its escarpments. You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to Basecamp Masai Mara, your home for the next 3 nights (Full Board). Hidden along the Talek River on the edge of the reserve, this eco-luxury tented camp blends comfort and conservation, surrounded by towering fig trees and birdlife, with views across the Mara plains.

Basecamp is much more than just a place to stay—it’s an immersive experience rooted in community and sustainability. You’ll settle into your spacious river-facing tent, each with an ensuite bathroom, solar-powered hot showers, and a private verandah where vervet monkeys often swing through the canopy.

Over the next two days, head out on early morning and late afternoon game drives with expert Maasai guides to track the Big Five and more: lions lounging in the grass, cheetahs scanning the savannah, and great elephant herds migrating across the plains. The wildlife here is prolific year-round, and if your visit coincides with the Great Migration, you may even witness dramatic river crossings.

Back at camp, enjoy fresh Swahili-inspired meals under the stars and relax by the campfire as your guide shares stories of the Mara. Between drives, join a walking safari with a Maasai naturalist, learning to read animal tracks, understand medicinal plants, and hear about traditional life in the Mara. You can also visit the Basecamp Masai Women’s Project, a community-run initiative supporting female artisans—perfect for a meaningful souvenir.

Today you’ll take to the skies once more in a light aircraft — flying from the Mara to the Kenyan coast, where the warm Indian Ocean and Diani’s powder-soft sands await. You will head to Asha Boutique for 7 nights with breakfast included. A calm, characterful base for your beach retreat, there are just six suites arranged around a leafy courtyard and a central pool. Swahili arches, crisp linens and barefoot service set the tone!

The next 6 days are yours to enjoy as you wish. Paddleboard in the calm shallows, head out snorkelling over coral reefs, or sail at sunset on a traditional dhow. Or simply grab your towel and a good book, and stretch out on the perfect sand.

After a last wander along the beach, you’ll transfer to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi, connecting home via Doha.

One final glance at the ocean, and you’re off — with memories of lion tracks in the dust, sundowners by the fire, and lazy swims beneath the palms.
