Upon arrival on day 2, you’ll be met and transferred to Nairobi National Park for your first taste of safari with 1 night and breakfast included at Ololo Safari Lodge – a traditional farmhouse perched above the park, far removed from the bustle of the city.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Domestic Airport where you will then board your light aircraft flight to Nanyuki, gateway to the Laikipia Plateau. You’ll spend 2 nights on a full-board basis at El Karama Lodge, a welcoming eco-lodge with a home-from-home feel and a stunning riverside setting. This area offers a wide variety of activities: enjoy day and night game drives, walking safaris, birding, and behind-the-scenes insight into life on a working conservancy.

On day 4, you will have a full day of safari. Enjoy game drives and a night drive, and you could also head out on a walking safari or birding safari if you wish! 

Enjoy a morning activity and breakfast on day 5, before you are transferred back to Nanyuki to catch your light aircraft flight direct to the Maasai Mara. Here, you will continue your safari with 4 nights and all meals included at Speke’s Camp – an authentic tented camp with a firm focus on the wildlife, wilderness and excellent guiding.

You now have 3 full days of safari in the Maasai Mara! With your own private 4×4 vehicle and guide, you’ll explore this world-famous ecosystem on daily game drives as you see how many of the Big Five you can spot, enjoy bush breakfasts, sundowners, and dinners under the stars.

After a final morning game drive, fly to the south coast and continue on to Chale Island, a peaceful private island just off the mainland. You’ll spend five nights here, slowing the pace with beach time, gentle swims and long, unhurried days. Take a boat trip through the mangroves, enjoy a picnic on a sandbank, or simply relax and watch the tide roll in. Snorkelling, kayaking and doing very little at all are all part of life on Chale.

After a final relaxed morning on day 14, you will transfer to Mombasa International Airport for your flight to Nairobi and onward overnight flight to the UK (via Doha).
