Head out on hikes through the jungle, and for a trip to get your tastebuds tantalised, go on a Cocoa, Coffee and Spices tour – learn about the different processes such as planting and harvesting, and enjoy tastings as you go. Or join the popular Mountain Adventure Tour and take a refreshing dip in the waterfall pools of Los Saltos. You can choose to hike for hours or wander peacefully along short trails. All in all there is plenty to do, and although there is no swimming pool, you could head to the waterfall pools for a dip if you’re looking to cool off. Santa Juana Lodge has 5 Cabins – consisting of split-level casitas with high vaulted ceilings and panoramic terraces overlooking the National Park, and an authentic two-bedroom house also offering a panoramic terrace. Each private cabin is situated on a hillside looking out over the surrounding mountain range – there may not be any A/C, but the natural breeze from the mountainous highlands more than makes up for it!
