Your Southeast Asian adventure begins with flights from the UK to Vientiane via Bangkok.

This morning, you will be driven 90 minutes north through changing landscapes to reach Vang Vieng, settling into Riverside Boutique Resort for 3 nights and with breakfast included. This award-winning property blends local traditions with French colonial elegance, and every room features a private balcony overlooking stunning karst formations.

A tour of Vang Vieng is in store on day 5! Cross the Nam Song River to explore Tham Pou Kham cave and swim in natural pools. Then, climb aboard a traditional longtail boat and drift along the river, passing towering limestone cliffs as you head back to the hotel.

Take to the water by kayak on day 6, paddling through spectacular scenery and soaking up the views of the local area. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure. You could head into town to explore the market, learn more about traditional Lao dishes with a cooking class, or simply relax by the pool.

This morning you will be transferred 10 minutes to the train station to board the train for your scenic journey to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, settle into Maison Dalabua on a bed and breakfast basis for 3 nights. A boutique property surrounded by three UNESCO-classified lily ponds, this is a charming hotel that has been run by the same family for generations.

You will then have 2 full days to immerse yourself in Lao culture. Join a hands-on cooking class, shopping for fresh ingredients before mastering traditional recipes. Visit working rice farms to understand cultivation from seedling to harvest, then journey to the magnificent Kuang Si waterfalls where turquoise pools cascade through pristine jungle. Swim in crystal-clear waters and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the thundering falls.

Today you will be transferred to Luang Prabang airport, where you will catch your flight to Bangkok. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Koh Munnork pier where you will then board a boat for the 45-minute journey to Koh Munnork Private Island for 5 nights with breakfast included. With powder-soft beaches, crystal-clear waters, and swaying palms, you’ll find yourself in a tropical paradise.

You will then have 4 days for pure relaxation. Snorkel in vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, kayak to hidden coves, stretch out on pristine beaches, and take sunset walks along the shore. 

On day 15 you will take a boat transfer to Bangkok airport for to connect with your flight home.
