DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: UK to Delhi
Fly overnight from the UK to Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi
On arrival you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred in your private vehicle to New Delhi where you will spend 3 nights at the urban oasis of The Manor. Set in nearly an acre of secluded garden space within tree-lined South Delhi, this Original Boutique Hotel is the perfect place to utterly unwind after your wedding.
Days 3: Delhi
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist guide for your private tour Old Delhi, including the Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosques in India) and a fascinating rickshaw ride through the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk. The afternoon is yours to relax. You could wander the gardens, or explore sprawling South Delhi and celebrate your nuptials (again!) with a cocktail in one of this vibrant city’s sassy cocktail bars.
Day 4: Delhi
Relax again this morning over a leisurely breakfast, then this afternoon you’ll be collected by your private driver and taken to discover New Delhi, including Qutub Minar and and the impressive Humayun’s Tomb. Want to go wild shopping? Or learn to dance like a Bollywood movie star? There are plenty of wonderful things to do in Delhi. Talk to us about all of your options!
Day 5: Delhi to Agra
This morning you will be met by your driver and journey to Agra where you will check into the Taj View Hotel. As the name promises, you’ll have a stunning view of the Taj Mahal from your room. This afternoon you will visit the impressive Agra Fort and then just in time for sunset, you’ll visit one of the most iconic monuments in the world, the Taj Mahal. The Mughal Emperor who commissioned this monument had a mere 13 wives – this is the perfect time to celebrate that you simply have each other!
Day 6: Agra to Jaipur
Early this morning you will have one final chance to see the Taj Mahal, radiantly glowing as the sun rises from behind the holy Yamuna River, sister tributary to the Ganges. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel and then you’ll be collected by your driver to make your way to Jaipur, the stunning Pink City of Rajasthan. Here you will check in to the romantic Jas Vilas where you’ll enjoy two nights. This glorious heritage property was originally a family home, and the owners Mahendra and Rajyashree will greet you with the warmest Rajasthani hospitality.
Day 7: Jaipur
This morning you’ll meet your specialist guide for your private tour of one of the finest forts in Rajasthan, Amber Fort. Marvel at the majesty of this incredible palace and enjoy the peculiarities around every corner. Relax and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. How many photos do you have so far?! Day 8: Jaipur
This morning you will be met by your specialist guide and tour through Jaipur, including the City Palace, the fascinating observatory Jantar Mantar, and the Hawa Mahal. If you’re lucky, you may even see a snake charmer! This afternoon is yours to continue shopping, or relax in one of the many rooftop restaurants and imbibe everything Jaipur has to offer!
Day 9: Jaipur to Jojowar
Heading south into the countryside you will drive to the village of Jojawar to spend 2 nights at the incredible heritage resort, Kesar Bagh. Experience true Rajput hospitality set in the midst of forest, farm and orchard. This really is a desert oasis!
Day 10: Jojawar
The day is yours! There’s plenty to do, including horse riding, or exploring the immense grounds on a jeep safari. See how many different birds you can spot! Don’t worry, we definitely won’t judge you if you choose to spend the entire day in the pool!
Day 11: Jojawar to Udaipur
Today you’ll be driven to the stunning lake city of Udaipur where you will check in to the gorgeous Heritage Lake View Room at Jagat Niwas Palace for your final 2 nights in India. The Rajputs of Rajasthan are famous for their grace, honesty, valour and hospitality and you will experience all of this and more at this spectacular property. A Sundowner favourite!
Day 12: Udaipur
This morning you will be collected by your driver and a specialist Udaipur guide for your private tour of Udaipur, including the City Palace, beautiful gardens of Saheliyon-ki-Bari and the Jagdish Temple. You will also have time this afternoon to explore the winding streets of the old town. Soak in the romance as you watch the shimmering sundowner over one of the most enchanting heritage cities in the world.
Day 13: Udaipur to UK
After one last lake-view morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your short flight back to Delhi. On arrival you will connect with your onward flight to the UK.

Our tour of Kerala was perfect in every way, we decided to go with a private driver who stayed with us for the whole trip – we found this a more relaxed way to travel.
