Fly overnight from the UK to Colombo.

On arrival, you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred in your private vehicle 45mins to spend 1 night at The Notary’s House, a luxury six bedroom, boutique hotel set amidst large gardens and featuring traditional Sri Lankan architecture.

Today your adventure really starts as you head into the Cultural Triangle region of the country to explore the incredible Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest temple cave complex in Sri Lanka.

You will then continue towards Sigiriya to spend 2 nights at Vil Uyana, a beautiful eco hotel with a selection of luxurious “dwellings” spread out amongst its own nature reserve with views of Sigiriya Rock – we particularly love the stylish sundowner lounge and tucking into a delicious Sri Lankan curry on the deck of your private dwelling!

This morning you will be collected by your guide and driven to the iconic Rock Fortress of Sigiriya to enjoy a guided tour of this fascinating UNESCO complex and a hike to the top to enjoy the stunning scenery. You will then return to Vil Uyana for a well-earned relax by the pool.

This morning you will be driven south to the scenic city of Kandy, heading to the UNESCO Temple of the Tooth and Royal Palace where you will enjoy a guided tour and walk by Kandy Lake.

You will spend 1 night at Ellerton Bungalow, an ancestral manor house surrounded by a lush, tropical garden. Unwind with a Sundowner by the infinity pool this afternoon as you look out at the paddy fields.

Today will be driven south of Kandy to Station where you will board the train south through the stunning tea plantations and many local villages to Hatton where you will spend 2 nights at 98 Acres, a scenic tea estate on ninety-eight acres of land – experience the beauty and serenity of the scenic hill country within luxurious comforts.

The next day is at leisure. This beautiful area is all about taking in the beautiful surroundings on tea tours, plantation hikes and mountain bike rides, and then enjoying delicious meals on the veranda. Top tip – Mandira has 2 other bungalows in the area and you can enjoy a full day trek with lunch at one and high tea at the other!

An incredible drive today will take in the Ella Gap with stunning views of the southern plains (definitely a stop for a few photos!) as you head down to Yala National Park to spend 2 nights at Tribe Yala. Experience glamping at its finest at this resort of natural splendor, hidden among the forests of Yala.

Full-day jeep safari in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka’s most visited reserve and home to the world’s highest density of leopards. Alongside these elusive big cats, you may also encounter elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, spotted deer, and a rich variety of birdlife as you explore the park’s varied landscapes of forest, lagoon, and scrub.

This morning you will head to Thalpe Beach on the southwest coast to end your honeymoon with 4 nights relaxing at Candella House. Perched on a pristine stretch of beach, Candella House offers a serene retreat surrounded by nature. With elegant interiors and sweeping ocean views, it’s the perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm.

Three full days to relax and explore the beaches of Galle. You probably will not want to leave your romantic hideaway but Galle Fort is only a short tuk-tuk ride away and the nearby beaches of Unawatuna and Wijaya have some great beach restaurants and a selection of beach activities.

Following a final breakfast in the garden you will be transferred north to Colombo Airport for your flight back to the UK.
