Fly overnight to Lusaka.

Upon arrival on day 2 you will be met and assisted on to your flight to Mfuwe, gateway to South Luangwa. From there, you will be transferred to spend 3 nights at Flatdogs Camp on a full-board basis. This is a relaxed riverside lodge known for its excellent guides and friendly team. The camp tries to keep things as natural as possible, which in turn encourages the wildlife to wander by.

South Luangwa is one of Africa’s best game viewing regions, and you will now have 2 full days to enjoy safari activities. Set out on early game drives to track wildlife, head out on walking safaris for a more detailed view of the park ecology, or relax by the pool between outings. This is the perfect start to your Zambian safari!

After a game drive this morning, you will be transferred to Mfuwe airport for your flight across to Livingstone. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to Taita Falcon Lodge to spend 3 nights with breakfast included. Perched high above the Bakota Gorge, and with just a handful of rooms, this owner-run lodge feels personal and remote — yet the mighty Victoria Falls are just a short drive away.

Days 6 and 7 are yours to spend at leisure. During your stay you could enjoy a tour of the Falls, take a trip to Devil’s Pool (available during low water levels), enjoy a bush walk through the surrounding landscape, or relax on a tranquil sunset cruise along the Zambezi river. For those seeking thrills, take a guided gorge walk or go white water rafting. You can also gain insight into daily life at the nearby local village with a tour, or simply soak up the views from the bar with a sundowner in hand.

After breakfast with a view, you will transfer back to the airport where you will then fly east to the Lower Zambezi National Park and settle in at Kanyemba Lodge for 3 nights with breakfast included. Sitting on the banks of the Zambezi river, the lodge only has space for a maximum of 20 people, offering peace and quiet to enjoy the beauty of the Lower Zambezi.

You will then have days 9 and 10 at your leisure. The lodge offers a rich mix of safari activities: explore by canoe, head out on foot, cruise by boat or join classic game drives to track predators and large herds. Head to a nearby village which is home to members of staff from the lodge and meet local residents, or simply dip in and out of the pool, watching elephants on the banks of the river opposite you.

On day 11, you will transfer by road to Lusaka airport (approx. 3 hours) for your return flight home.
