Kanga Camp features six solar-powered Meru-style tents that strike a balance between rustic charm and thoughtful comfort. Decorated in earthy tones with locally inspired details, each tent blends canvas, wood, and natural textures to echo the surrounding bush. The honeymoon suite boasts a secluded roll-top bath on a private deck, while the family tent offers generous space and wraparound views of the pan. All tents include en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and mesh-sided walls that invite in the breeze and the soft stir of the wild beyond—immersing you in the rhythm of Mana Pools.
Facilities
Kanga Camp’s main area is a multi-level wooden deck shaded by jackalberry and mahogany trees, with wide views of the wildlife-rich Kanga Pan. The upper deck has a relaxed lounge and well-stocked bar, while below there’s a communal dining table and firepit—perfect for evening storytelling under the stars. A small plunge pool and sun loungers offer a refreshing spot to watch passing game. Beneath the deck, a photographic hide with armchairs provides a discreet perch for close-up wildlife viewing.
Meals are shared around the communal table with guides and hosts. Mornings begin with a light breakfast by the fire, followed by lunch—often build-your-own burgers and a simple dessert. Afternoon tea includes treats like feta pastries and berry cake. Dinner is a three-course affair with soups, hearty mains, and indulgent puddings. Filtered water and most drinks are included, with premium options available at extra cost.

Kanga Camp offers a varied safari experience thanks to its unique position beside the only permanent water source in this remote part of Mana Pools.
