Houseboat Cruise Through Kerala Backwaters

Gliding past villages that seem frozen in time, I witness life unfold along these liquid pathways. Women in vibrant saris wash brass pots at the water’s edge, children wave excitedly from their journey to school by canoe, and fishermen cast their Chinese nets with practiced grace.

The afternoon air fills with the fragrance of curry leaves and cardamom from our kitchen. Our chef demonstrates the art of Kerala cuisine, sharing family secrets as he prepares karimeen pollichathu – pearl spot fish grilled in banana leaves. Each taste is a celebration of local flavours.
