Angkor Wat and Beyond

Visiting Angkor Wat is a bucket-list experience, but it is only one part of the vast Angkor Archaeological Park. Beyond it lie the remains of an empire, and more than 70 temples, that once dominated much of Southeast Asia.

Ta Prohm is famous for its iconic tree roots growing out of the stone walls, and Bayon Temple, with its massive stone faces carved into the towers. Angkor Wat itself is the world’s largest religious monument and best visited at sunrise when the towers are silhouetted against the colourful sky.
