The honeymoon of a lifetime! Great service from James. We loved the safari in the Okavango Delta – great guides/trackers, good service and saw some great animals. A fabulous location.

Colin Brown, Botswana

We loved the safari in Botswana. The lodges and the quality of guides was truly outstanding. It was a phenomenal experience that gave us memories to last a lifetime.

Harry Webb, Botswana

We loved every minute of our safari – each place and lodge visited was very different, with its own unique experiences. All in all it was a wonderful adventure with the most beautiful of scenery and people. Our driver was very informative and determined to find us every wild animal under the sun! No rhino but we did see a spitting cobra and a massive python!

Jess Adkins, Botswana

The experience was fantastic. The African culture, the wildlife and all the personal touches from the lodge hosts. A measure of a good holiday is one you want to repeat; we would both do this trip again tomorrow – brilliant.

Tour itinerary

Days 1 - 3 :

Into the wilds of the Central Kalahari

Fly overnight from the UK to Maun, gateway to the Okavango and safari capital of Botswana.

Upon arrival on day 2, you’ll board a light aircraft for a thrilling flight over arid plains to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. At its heart lies Tau Pan Camp, an eco-luxury camp that sits proudly above the grasslands, offering sweeping views and peaceful seclusion. You will stay here for 2 nights on a full-board basis.

On day 3, you will head out on an expertly guided game drive. You could also go on walks with San bushman trackers, and visit Deception Valley — famed for its cheetahs and dramatic seasonal transformation. The Kalahari comes alive between December and April, when antelope herds stretch to the horizon and predators follow in their wake.

Two bushmen wearing cloth clothing teach a European woman. One can be seen holding up a stick and talking to the lady.
Days 4 -6:

Safari by land and water in the Okavango Delta

After a final morning on the Tau Pan, you’ll fly by light aircraft to the Okavango Delta. Touch down in Kwando Concession, and head to Kwara Camp where you will stay for the next 3 nights on a full-board basis. This intimate camp is designed for real immersion, with canvas-and-wood suites nestled under trees and open-air views of the surrounding wildlife. Bordering the renowned Moremi Reserve, Kwara offers superb game viewing.

On day 5 & 6, you will set out with expert trackers on game drives, walking safaris, and gliding mokoro trips through the reeds – an unhurried, magical way to spot elephants, kingfishers and lechwe up close. When the water levels rise, motorboat safaris open up even more of this extraordinary ecosystem. The combination of wetland and savannah creates one of Africa’s richest wildlife experiences.

Behind is a desert plain with dried up shrubs and grass, under a dusky sky, with orange clouds dotted about the clear blue.
Days 7 & 8 :

Big game encounters in the Kwando Concession

Your safari continues with a short scenic flight north to the Kwando River, where you’ll land in one of Botswana’s most exclusive concessions. You will then head to Lagoon Camp, a relaxed, beautifully sited retreat with great opportunities to see lots of predators, particularly the African wild dog. Settle in for 2 nights on a full-board basis.

The Kwando Concession is known for its exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. On day 7, you will head out on to the concession with your expert guide and depending on the water levels, you will also head out on another boat safari.

Days 9 - 11:

The thundering finale at Victoria Falls

After one final morning on safari, fly east to Kasane and transfer across the border into Zambia to arrive at the legendary Victoria Falls. Your base for your final 2 nights with breakfast included is the elegant Royal Livingstone, a colonial-style retreat right on the banks of the Zambezi, with zebras grazing the lawns and spray from the Falls drifting in the air.

You have a full day to spend at leisure. The hotel offers free unlimited access to the Falls for guests, and if you cross in to the Zimbabwean side, you’ll get a whole new perspective of the Falls!

On your final morning, enjoy breakfast by the river before your transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight home via Johannesburg.
