This should be the trip of a lifetime to start off our married life in style! As we have most of the home furnishings we need, we’re following the trend and creating a honeymoon gift list. So if something strikes your fancy on the list below, or you would like to contribute to our adventure, then that’s incredibly generous. We can’t wait to share our memories with you when we’re back and we’re very excited for the big day on the 29th September!Love Laura and Max xxx

What the Sundowner team say about our honeymoon:

This is a brilliant highlights honeymoon showing off South Africa’s varied landscape from the rugged coast of the Cape to the colourful valleys of the Winelands and in to raw safari bushveld. You will experience the buzz and culture that the city of Cape Town has to offer. The wildlife spotting opportunities are phenomenal – with penguins on the Cape Peninsula, the potential to see whales and seals in Hermanus and the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and more (giraffe, cheetah, hippo for example) in the Kruger. Staying in authentic properties that get consistently good feedback you are guaranteed to be well looked after. This will be honeymoon filled with wonderful moments, and without doubt, you will return home with memories to last a lifetime.

SUNDOWNER MOMENTS
Sundowner is about moments. Those moments that immerse you wholly into your surroundings and together make up the most wonderful, memorable holiday. We like to design holidays made up of these types of moments.

  • Driving down to the Cape of Good Hope from Camps Bay to Hout Bay and along Chapman’s Peak past the stunning Noordhoek Beach – one of the finest coastal drives in the world.
  • Seeing an 80-tonne whale lift nearly two-thirds of its body vertically out of the water and then come crashing down in an explosion of spray just 15m from shore.
  • Indulging in some of the wonderful restaurants of Franschhoek – some of our favourites include La Petite Ferme (one of the best lunch spots in the valley), the Tasting Room at Le Quartier Francais (Top 3 restaurant in the country for many years), Bread & Wine on Moreson’s Farm and the Haute Cabriere cellar restaurant.
  • A true sundowner. On safari, stopping for a break in the game drive, at the most perfect spot, favourite drink in hand watching the sunset, feeling a world away from home.
